Preparing for this future demand means adapting now. That’s why we’ve been taking more time to listen to your feedback. What we’ve heard has enabled us to get laser-focused on the things that matter to you most, including more applications, higher-quality candidates, faster submissions and time-saving tools.

More Applications

Candidates on Vivian now number over 2 million. We’re increasing applications by giving you the tools to find more relevant talent and increase candidate responsiveness.

A better Talent Pool. We’ve made a series of updates to our Talent Pool including adding candidates’ recent search histories so you can send more relevant job proposals in line with what candidates are looking for.

 

 

A higher-converting proposal experience. Once you find the perfect candidate, convert your proposal into an application. The revamped candidate experience starts with a personalized message from you, provides more comprehensive job and facility details, and offers a straightforward way to apply—all of which foster greater responsiveness.

 

 

Higher-Quality Candidates

We’re improving candidate quality by building a more personalized candidate experience and helping deter non-healthcare professionals from applying.

Daily Matches. Our new feature uses our latest AI model to curate a daily selection of your most relevant jobs tailored to each candidate’s unique profile, preferences and recent search histories.

 

 

A more intentional “apply to similar jobs” experience. We know this has been a particular pain point across the board, as candidates often don’t realize they’re applying for additional jobs and can become unresponsive. That’s why we’re starting to present similar roles in a side-by-side comparison with the original job, with each opportunity requiring explicit action. The result is a more intentional candidate.

 

 

A reduction in non-healthcare professionals. A series of improvements will soon help deter non-healthcare professionals from getting through the application process. We’ve also restricted resume uploads to .pdf, .doc and .docx formats to prevent unrelated or inappropriate images from making their way onto Vivian.

 

 

Faster Submissions 

We’re helping you submit candidates faster by collecting more of the information needed for submission. 

Reusable reference checks. Candidates can choose to have Vivian carry out their reference checks, which remain reusable for an entire year on any job application. This feature is rolling out in phases. Click here to see the full list of reference questions. 

 

 

Submission packet builder. Starting soon, you’ll be able to build your submission packets directly on Vivian! Every document that is stored in a candidate’s profile can now be downloaded and combined into a single PDF, including a Vivian auto-generated cover sheet.

 

 

Time-Saving Tools

Inbox improvements. Since late last year, we’ve been continuously releasing small updates, including custom conversation tags, multi-select tools, improved filters and more—all of which have helped reduce your response times from 4 hours to 2 hours.

 

 

A more powerful mobile app. Over 50% of applications take place outside standard business hours. That’s why we’ve also been hard at work to make sure the Vivian app closely mirrors the desktop experience, empowering you to communicate effectively with candidates whenever you need to—and without having to open your computer on nights and weekends.
