24/7 Concierge Service Accelerates Candidate Hiring

Overview

Raye Nichols is a Hospice RN that was looking to change jobs due to staffing and culture at her current work place. She has been a nurse for 27 years with a variety of experience, including a DON role. She had been looking for employment, but found she didn’t have much time to do so during normal working hours and was missing communications from potential employers. Vivian was able to help her find a permanent staff hospice position due to our 24/7 Clinical Concierge Team response. 

Challenge

Raye preferred to communicate outside ‘usual’ business hours due to her sleep cycle and other personal factors in her life during the daytime. She had been using other platforms to apply but was struggling to keep up with messages in real time as she was either sleeping or away from her phone. 

Solution

Raye was contacted by concierge member Sam just after 8pm on October 12th. She applied to her role 7 minutes later. Sam was able to give Raye the job description, estimated pay, required credentials, and hours within the first 20 minutes of contact. The entire conversation lasted 43 minutes and Raye agreed to upload a new resume to fulfill the application requirements. She thanked Sam for his prompt communication during the chat.

 

 

In the next conversation, starting at 4pm on October 20th, the Vivian team reached out to Raye to inquire if she had been able to upload her resume. Raye explained she did not have time, but that it shouldn’t take her long as she has only held 2 jobs in 27 years.  She was then able to ask our team questions about some of the job details and receive an immediate response. 

Raye again reached out to Audra on October 21st to follow up since she had not yet heard from the hiring manager. The team was able to  make contact with the hiring manager within 72 hours and confirm that Raye should be receiving an invitation to interview.

Raye has been employed with Texas Home Health since November 11th and is loving her job. We also built enough trust with the candidate that she felt comfortable sharing that the passing of her husband in 2013 inspired her to work in hospice- not many job boards can claim to inspire such a great relationship with their candidates. The entire hiring process took 22 days, from initial contact with Vivian to the candidate accepting an offer.
