Vivian Health studied pay trends among permanent staff positions from healthcare jobs posted on our platform over the past 12 months. We looked at certified nursing assistants, licensed practical/vocational nurses, allied health professionals and registered nurses.
Across all four professions, wages rose during the last two months of 2022 and into the first two months of 2023 before leveling off somewhat since then. Vivian suspects rising wages are part of a trend of healthcare systems trying harder to fill staff roles rather than relying on travelers to cover staffing gaps within their facilities.
Our analysis includes details on the minimum and maximum average wages offered each month within the past 12 months for all four roles, with data visualization and our forward-looking prognosis.
